Garroch Glen

Garroch Glen is situated in the Glenkens, a stunning area within Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland. Garroch is a traditional Galloway estate, owned and run by the same family for over 150 years. Rich in natural heritage, pondlife and wildlife, the Glen is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest, close to the Southern Upland Way.

The landscape of Garroch Glen embraces upland moor and wooded valley, clear burns and tranquil lochs, meandering tracks and open spaces. From guided walks to chauffeured drives, fishing to hill rides, alfresco picnics to boathouse barbeques, we can organise a tailor-made for you. Families and groups of up to 12 are welcome.

Accompanied by an expert guide, your tailor-made visit can be as short as 2 hours or last a full day.

For those wishing to experience more or for a relaxing break we have self catering accommodation available.

So - whatever you want to do, whenever you choose to visit, however you like to explore, we will be delighted to lead you on a fun and fascinating tour of Garroch Glen, planned especially for you.
