Fishing

In days gone by, Luskie Loch and Garroch Loch hosted curling competitions in winter and provided water that fuelled the estate's corn and saw mills. Today, Garroch Glen's secluded lochs are purely for the pleasure of fishing. Amply stocked with brown trout, both lochs are delightful locations to fish from boats and to enjoy the sights and sounds of the surrounding countryside.

Want to learn to fly fish?
This can be arranged!
just contact us for more information.

Luskie is set in the middle of sheltered woodland and has a delightful boathouse which is perfect for picnics at the water's edge. We can even cook your freshly caught trout there and then! Alternatively you can enjoy a picnic on the loch's very own island.

Fishing is booked for your exclusive use, for a morning, afternoon or full day. Each member of your party can catch unlimited fish and keep three. Life jackets are provided.
